Arranged in three groups: I. Vocal scores (1). II. Librettos (11). III. Promptbooks (1). Production materials for Auber's comic opera "Giralda, ou La nouvelle Psyché." The vocal score, with printed German and French text (Berlin: Bote & Bock, 1850-1900?) contains handwritten superlinear English translation. The libretto is actually for an English version of the play with the same title ("Giralda, or The miller's wife") by Benjamin Webster, and was published by Samuel French (New York & London, n.d.). The manuscript English promptbook credits Oscar Weil for the English libretto and bears the cover annotation "First produced by Boston Ideals March 26th 1885 at New Haven, Ct."
